ear and valued customer,

If you are not satisfied with a purchase or if you are experiencing another problem with a ILAB-LILA dealer, here is what you should do

We first request that you try to settle your dispute with the dealer in question and try to solve your problem amicably.

Should this step fail to resolve your problem, or if you are not quite satisfied with the solution proposed, or if you are wondering whether this is the 'right' solution or proposal, you can ask the Committee of the International League of Antiquarian Booksellers for help. This means that the Committee of the International League of Antiquarian Booksellers will note your complaint and will forward it to the National Association of which the dealer in question is a member. The Committee of the International League of Antiquarian Booksellers will ask the President of that National Association to deal with your complaint, the Committee of the International League of Antiquarian Booksellers will monitor the process and see to it that your complaint is being dealt with.

In order to do this you must
- accurately describe the problem;
- inform the Committee of the results of your discussions with the dealer in question;
- inform the Committee of the solutions or proposals suggested to you;
- accurately argue why you think these are not acceptable or why you are not satisfied with the suggested solution;
- fully list your name, title, address, zip-code, town, state and country, as well as your telephone- and faxnumber and email address.

Please note that the Webmaster is in no way responsible for any offered item all items offered are the property of the dealer offering the item and the dealer is the sole responsible party for descriptions, pricing, and cataloguing practice.

Complaints about particular offerings or about the execution by ILAB-LILA booksellers of contracts should be directed not at ILAB-LILA but at the individual bookseller concerned. Should a difference of opinion occur with a bookseller of the ILAB-LILA database, please try to find a solution first with the dealer concerned.
